Inventory Analyst
Job Description:
Inventory Analyst is responsible for overseeing and optimizing inventory levels, ensuring the absolute accuracy of physical and system records for finished products. This role goes beyond basic counting to actively analyze inventory data, identify the root causes of variances, generate actionable reports, and collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) to maintain strict food safety standards.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting or a related 4-year course
- At least 1 to 3 years of experience in inventory control, logistics, or data analysis, preferably within the FMCG or Food & Beverage manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in Inventory Management Software / ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent WMS)
- Advanced computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data analysis)
- Strong awareness and understanding of applicable Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) principles and warehouse safety standards
- Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, spot trends, and perform root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies
- Critical thinking skills to develop and implement proactive solutions for inventory variances
- High level of accuracy in data entry, record keeping, and physical counting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the Production and QA departments
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and coordinate physical counts without disrupting operations
