Receiving Clerk

The Receiving and Dispatching Clerk is responsible for the efficient and accurate receiving of incoming deliveries and dispatching of outgoing goods. This includes verifying deliveries against purchase orders or invoices, inspecting items for damages or discrepancies, sorting and organizing received items, processing returns, recording goods into inventory systems, preparing outgoing deliveries, and ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.

Receiving:

  • Receive incoming deliveries of raw materials and goods.
  • Verify the accuracy of deliveries against purchase orders (POs) or invoices.
  • Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies, reporting issues to the supervisor.
  • Sort and organize received items for proper storage or further distribution.
  • Process returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
  • Record received goods into the inventory system or logs.

Dispatching:

  • Check outgoing deliveries of goods and materials to ensure accuracy.
  • Ensure stocks are properly counted and loaded onto delivery vehicles.
  • Assist the Delivery Team Leader in tracking deliveries and communicating delivery status to relevant parties.

General:

  • Maintain clear communication and coordination with other departments.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of all receiving and dispatching activities.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety policies.
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the Logistics Manager.


    Qualifications
    Preferably with Bachelors Degree or with experience in Warehousing at least for 2 years.
    Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office & Google Workspace
