Payroll Specialist

As a key member of the Accounting/Finance team, the Payroll Staff ensures accurate and timely processing of the company’s payroll. You will play a vital role in maintaining employee satisfaction and compliance with payroll regulations.   • Payroll Data Management:
    • Accurately collect and validate employee time and attendance data from diverse sources, including biometric systems and manual logs.
    • Ensure precise and timely entry of all payroll-related information into the IBSS Payroll system.
    • Process comprehensive payroll cycles for regular, daily, and supplemental employees across meat and juice production departments.
  • Compensation and Compliance:
    • Calculate and meticulously verify overtime hours, adhering strictly to company policies and labor regulations.
    • Manage and reconcile all payroll deductions, including statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and employee loans.
    • Generate and submit accurate remittance schedules and payments to relevant government agencies, ensuring timely compliance.
    • Maintain current knowledge of evolving deduction and remittance regulations, proactively implementing necessary updates.
  • Reporting and Analysis:
    • Produce detailed payroll reports, including comprehensive summaries and analytical insights for management review.
    • Generate and submit annual Alphalist Compensation and Expanded Withholding Tax reports for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) compliance.
    • Prepare and file monthly excise tax reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
    • Assist in the compilation and summarization of sales data for accounting and BIR reporting purposes.
  • Employee Compensation and Support:
    • Accurately calculate and process employee commissions and 13th-month pay.
    • Respond promptly and professionally to all payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, providing clear and accurate information.
    • Collaborate effectively with Human Resources and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and data integrity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a manufacturing or food production environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in payroll software, specifically IBSS or comparable systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stringent deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex payroll issues.
