As a key member of the Accounting/Finance team, the Payroll Staff ensures accurate and timely processing of the company’s payroll. You will play a vital role in maintaining employee satisfaction and compliance with payroll regulations. - Payroll Data Management:
- Accurately collect and validate employee time and attendance data from diverse sources, including biometric systems and manual logs.
- Ensure precise and timely entry of all payroll-related information into the IBSS Payroll system.
- Process comprehensive payroll cycles for regular, daily, and supplemental employees across meat and juice production departments.
- Compensation and Compliance:
- Calculate and meticulously verify overtime hours, adhering strictly to company policies and labor regulations.
- Manage and reconcile all payroll deductions, including statutory contributions (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG) and employee loans.
- Generate and submit accurate remittance schedules and payments to relevant government agencies, ensuring timely compliance.
- Maintain current knowledge of evolving deduction and remittance regulations, proactively implementing necessary updates.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Produce detailed payroll reports, including comprehensive summaries and analytical insights for management review.
- Generate and submit annual Alphalist Compensation and Expanded Withholding Tax reports for Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) compliance.
- Prepare and file monthly excise tax reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the compilation and summarization of sales data for accounting and BIR reporting purposes.
- Employee Compensation and Support:
- Accurately calculate and process employee commissions and 13th-month pay.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, providing clear and accurate information.
- Collaborate effectively with Human Resources and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations and data integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated expertise in end-to-end payroll processing, ideally within a manufacturing or food production environment.
- Advanced proficiency in payroll software, specifically IBSS or comparable systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and unwavering commitment to accuracy.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet stringent deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
